I am a bit of a heavy user of this product. Some of the pins broke off, which wouldn’t be a problem if the hooks holding it didn’t also break off. If you plan to fly a 3x5 or larger flag, it might be better to buy Anley’s wall flag poles for longer durability.

I wish I got the 5 footer. Besides that, the clips that attach could be better, and the triangle metal piece that holds the flag's bottom in place with the grooves on the pole could be less prone to expanding which causes it to fall off. Besides that, there are not many alternatives to this product.

Great alternative to carrying a full-length flagpole on my veterans hikes! I just attach it to the side of my backpack for hands-free flag flying! Since it’s telescopic, it fits easily into my carry-on luggage so I can still take my flags, even on flights. Pairs perfectly with my Anley custom 12”x18” flags! So great, I bought two telescopic poles!

It’s cheap. It is what it is. If you plan on only using it for something small, like a football game or something it’ll be great.

Worked great but after holding this flag for three days at edc i deicded next year i will be getting a taller flag pole!! lol item how ever held up great in the wind and was completly perfect for its needs

Used it for a flag we made when my son graduated marine boot camp. It was awesome. The handle didn’t get sweaty...it was light weight...collapsed so I could store it in my purse and it allowed the flag to fly high so my son could pick us out in the crowd. Would definitely recommend

Nice smooth glide to retract. Purchased this to tie a flag to and use as a tool to train my horses. It retracts nicely and slips into my pocket. Perfect for this application. Thx. I use this item almost daily and i love it, however, for my purposes, i put a flag on the end and i find that the ring used to attach the flag to the pole loosens and allows the flag to fall off. I would suggest the the manufacturers use a better system on the end of the pole to attach a flag. I'm constantly using pliers to tighten it again.

I bought this flag pole for a music festival. I really love this little guy. Use this as my festival totem, it is perfect for me. It is small, lightweight, very convenient to carry on and fits for backpack. It is good for nylon flag. Moreover, the flag pole is super strong since it is mode of stainless steel. I will try to use this flagpole for my cars. Love it! Great value for the price!

Great product. It's lightweight and can be extended to a good length. And the touch feeling of the handle is wonderful. Also two clasps are included, ready for use. Perfect for tailgates and gamedays.

As a tour guide, this little flag pole is immensely useful and practical. I have tried various other items to keep my tour group together, but they’re usually clunky and heavy. Not what you would want to carry around during a tour. A colleague recommended telescopic flag poles recently. I knew I want one without a second thought as soon as I saw the picture! This flag pole is retractable and lightweight. It sits in my backpack comfortably when not in use. It’s long enough that I don’t actually need to hold my arm up for people to see the flag. The build is study and I like how the ergonomic grip feels in my hand.
